Dr.
Paul Tom Gaudet is a board certified ear, nose, and throat surgeon (otolaryngologist).
He graduated from L.S.U. Medical School in 1968. He did his ENT residency
at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale Medical School, in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Gaudet has been in practice since 1976 as a founder of Southern
E.N.T. Associates, Inc. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology
and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gaudet is on the
staff of most area hospitals and practices in most areas of otolaryngology
including pediatric ENT, hearing problems, ear surgery, as well as sinus
and allergy conditions. He was selected a Top Doctor in the New Orleans
area in 2004 in the field of otolaryngology.
Dr. Gaudet is a native of Raceland, LA. has served as Chairman of the
Board of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center for 1 year, and was a board
member for 12 years. He served as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy
for three years achieving the rank of Lt. Commander. He was awarded
the Navy Achievement Medal for service in Vietnam. He was President
of the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce and the Lafourche Parish Medical
Society. He has been active over the years in many civic and community
organizations including youth sports and the Boy Scouts of America.
He has been married to his wife Carol for 37 years and they have three
children and two grandchildren.
